"Thank You Luncheon” at the del-Tech Georgetown Campus
On Wednesday, March 13th, SCRWC members , Gale White and Carole Andrejko, along with Scholarship Committee Chair Hope Whaley, attended a "Thank You Luncheon” at the del-Tech Georgetown Campus in appreciation of the $2500 endowment we provided to the College.
Hope, Gale, and Carole were very pleased to meet two of the five recipients of the $500 grants SCRWC provided to assist with those fees not covered by the Delaware SEED Program.
Tina Collins and Joseph Myers are both studying Nursing and our hope is that they will stay in Sussex County and serve our local community.

These non-traditional college students have been invited to attend our June meeting so the rest of our membership will have an opportunity to meet them.
Both students were very thankful and told members that our assistance is making a big difference.as they pursue their career aspirations.
