Our meeting included our annual silent auction which benefited our scholarship fund. Great fun was had by all!
We ask that you help us support the Food Bank of Delaware in our area by bringing a small bag of non-perishable food to the Sussex County Republican Women's Club luncheon meeting, at Mulligan's Pointe Country Club, Georgetown, on January 26th. We will arrange to get your donations to the Delaware Food Bank in Milford. This location services the Sussex County Region.
Our January guest speaker will be Nandi Randolf,
M. Ed, Policy Analyst for the Delaware Family Policy Council.
She will speak on upcoming Delaware General Assembly legislation
Nandi Randolf graduated from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL in 2012. After teaching for a few years, she began working with the Florida Family Policy Council and was influential in various projects, including the Protect My Ministry tour which provided legal advice to Pastors and Christian school leaders. She completed her graduate degree in 2015 and went on to complete two years of legal training at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Since 2019 she has been the acting Policy Analyst and lobbyist for the Delaware Family Policy Council. Though deeply connected in the policy realm, she continues to work on the dissertation for her doctorate in Education as well.
The Delaware Family Policy Council began a movement to advocate for strong family units, which they feel is crucial to having a strong culture, community and society. Their areas of focus are:
