First-ever Freedom Festival Kicks Off this Fall, October 7th and 8th

Delawareans Are Gearing up for

Great Music, Food, and Family-friendly Fun




GEORGETOWN, Del., Aug. 9—Sussex County Republicans are excited to announce their first-ever Freedom Festival, which will take place on October 7th and 8th. This family-friendly gathering is a celebration of America and our exceptional Constitutional freedoms.

The event kicks off on Friday night, October 7th at the Rusty Rudder in Dewey Beach with a banquet. The evening will feature keynote speaker Stephen Moore, Senior Economic Advisor to former President Donald Trump. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet John Paul Mac Isaac, the computer repair shop owner given Hunter Biden’s damaged laptop.



Festivities then begin in earnest the next day at Hudson Fields in Milton with a jammed- packed program. The day will begin with four car rallies to Hudson Fields—the first from Ocean City MD, the second up route 113 from Berlin MD, the third up Route 13 from Salisbury MD, and finally south down Route 1 from New Castle County. All routes will have numerous hop-on points along the way. You can register online for any of these four rallies and a route leader will contact you.

Once at Hudson Fields attendees will have the opportunity to attend police K-9 demonstrations numerous other family friendly events. A wide variety of craft and informational vendors will be on hand, as will a number of different food trucks—enough to satisfy any palette. Music will be provided by Joy Lynn, Sweetwater Band, and tribute performer Mike Long.


“It’s going to be a fun-filled day,” said Marilyn Booker, Chair of the Sussex County Republican Committee, who is sponsoring the event.


The Saturday event will also feature both national and locally known speakers. These include an encore performance by Stephen Moore, former Georgia Congressman Doug Collins, LtCol Oliver North, Jeff Hague of De


laware State Sportsmen's Association, John Paul Mac Isaac, Nandi Randolph of the Delaware Family Policy Council, and Rev. John Betts. Larry Mayo of the Institute on the Constitution will also take the stage, in addition to a number of Republicans running for state and local office. All will offer their views and insights on the major issues confronting Americans during these turbulent times.


Festival tickets are available for $5.00 per person if booked online, or $10.00 at the event. Banquet tickets can also be purchased for $100.00 per person, with VIP passes available for $150.00.
