Hocker to speak at the Sussex County GOP’s first ‘Small Business Breakfast’
on March 31, along with County Councilman John Rieley
Georgetown, Del., March 3—Senator Gerald Hocker filed for reelection this week, vowing to continue his fight to maintain limited government, business-friendly policies, and personal liberties in Delaware. A veteran legislator, Hocker currently serves as Republican Senate Leader in the Delaware Assembly and is excited about renewing his term.

“There are lots of good things to say about Senator Hocker,” says Marilyn Booker, Chair of the Sussex County Republican Committee, “but my favorite is his dedication to constituents. Any time a Sussex County citizen contacts him with an issue, he gets right on it.”
Hocker currently serves as Republican Leader in the Delaware Senate, representing Senate District 20, and is proud of his legislative achievements. From his beginnings as the 38th District Representative in 2003 to his Senate career, which he launched in 2013, Hocker has a strong record of advocating for limited government, preserving personal liberties, promoting conservative values, fighting for lower taxes, and protecting Delaware’s natural resources. He has lived in Sussex County his entire life, where he and his wife Emily have raised five children, and where he has founded and continues to operate several successful businesses.
Hocker will be speaking and answering questions, along with County Councilman John Rieley, at the Sussex County Republican Committee’s first Small Business Breakfast, which will be held on March 31st at The Ocean Grill in Long Neck.
Breakfast will be served at 7:30 am. All small business owners are welcomed. Please RSVP at: sussexgop@protonmail.com or by calling: 302-856-6323.
The Sussex County GOP will be sponsoring Small Business Breakfasts (SBB) on the last Thursday of each month at various locations throughout the County. To find the locations for future SBBs see www.sussexgop.org.
