LILLIAN MARTIN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

This years winners were:

Lauren Ashley Henry, who will be attending Campbell University, Buies Creek, NC

and

Sierra S. Spicer, who will be attending Lynchburg college, Lynchburg, VA.

In the name of Lillian Martin who organized and created the Sussex County Republican Women’s Club in the summer of 1952, two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded this year.  Female graduating seniors from the high schools in Sussex County may apply in accordance with the following requirements.  Funds for the scholarships will be submitted to the college or university where the recipients have been accepted and must be used within twelve months of presentation.

APPLICATION DEADLINE IS March 25, 2010.  All forms must be filed with the Guidance Counselor/Scholarship Department by this date.  This department will please mail all applications for arrival by April 1, 2010 to:

The application and supporting information becomes the property of the Sussex County Republican Women’s Club.  It is requested that the recipients attend the meeting of this club on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 6:00 PM at the Sussex Pines Country Club, Georgetown, Delaware.  Club information and meeting location directions are available at our website www.scrwc.net.
